Celebrations and Commemorations

When social responsibility initiatives at schools meet fun, the outcome is sheer joy, especially if the students essay a major role. In breaking new philanthropic grounds, students, teachers and parents of Daffodils Foundation for Learning came together for a mega fund-raiser aptly called ‘Joy of Sharing’, on 30^th July 2022. From setting up eateries to funky games stalls to crafty handicrafts corners to elitist literary stalls, the school campus came alive and vibrant. Students were the event managers, teachers- their facilitators and parents/families- the participants. This school social responsibility event was a resounding success as it could raise whopping proceeds to be donated for benevolent causes and made its mark in commemorating the school founder’s (Late Shri PK Bheemaiah) birth centenary celebrations. It was his vision to strike a balance between the haves and have-nots in a society through educational institutions.

From the earliest times of barter to the present metaverse times, nature’s rule has it that one life form lives for another; shares with another. Daffodils Foundation for Learning demonstrated this school of thought by fusing novelty and nobleness together and drove a virtuous purpose through their ‘Joy of Sharing’.
