Fifty principals of different schools, pan India were felicitated in an event hosted by 'Education Today'. Dr. Sujatha Girish, Principal, DFL was one of the chosen ones who was conferred with 'Effective Principal 2021' award in an event held at Chancery Pavilion Hotel, Richmond Road, Bangalore on 10 Mar 2021.

Microsoft Imagine Cup

DFL has won the Microsoft Imagine Cup Junior-21 cup, a global competitive platform for students aged 13-18. The team called ‘Sense and Save’ has proposed a novel idea of using cutting edge AI technology in pregnancy healthcare practice. The school was pronounced one of the top ten winners world-wide in a global event on 10 June 2021. ​

Golden School Award – for outstanding performance by The Indian Talent Exams consecutively for two years 2016-17 and 2017-18. Ranked in the top 100 best schools at the state level. Three students from the school have been honored with ‘Excellence Medal Awards’ for their outstanding performance.
